…..and some gratuitous photos of Dylan’s cute sister Ella.
Scenes from a four year old’s birthday. Actually what I really should say is scenes from my adorable, hilarious, smart, loving nephew Dylan’s 4th birthday. He used to call me Manana, like banana with an M, before he could actually say Camilla. I secretly miss it.
This post is dedicated to my wonderful friend Colin…..
His mother was right; asking girls to read his screenplay on the first date was a mistake.

I can’t drive by this sign without making the same joke every time…..
“sexy road ahead!”
My husband is nice enough to throw me a bone and laugh along with me.
This week has taken me from the eastern side of Massachusetts for my nephew’s 4th birthday to the western side of the state for my father-in-law’s 65th.
……..and one week from tomorrow it will be time for me to celebrate my big 3-0!
Happy birthday all around.
I wish I carried maternity clothing at the store because these expandable dresses by Marisol Rodríguez are AMAZING.
Read all about them here.

I love these posters by artist Joe Wirtheim. Wanting to make art that had meaning, and social relevancy Wirtheim started The Victory Garden of Tomorrow: New American Propaganda. It is an art project posing as a propaganda campaign for new, American homefront values. Don’t they make you want to grab your gardening gloves and start cultivating the three foot plot of land between the sidewalk and your apartment building!
I’m a very lucky auntie because I got to hang out with this cute little girl on Sunday. I also had the good fortune of witnessing her first encounter with ice cream. It was nothing short of adorable to say the least. She gets her good looks and charming personality from her very talented parents Morgan and Liz.
